Dear Michi’s Family,

Our purpose has always been to improve our customer’s health and wellness. At this time
we are even more dedicated to that mission. Here are some of the steps we have been
taking to keep our customers and staff healthy during these times of heightened vigilance.
– No Skin Contact. Our servers and kitchen staff are using gloves at all times.
– Stay Home. Employees are to stay home if they experience any cold or flu-like
symptoms.
– Sanitization. We regularly sanitize door handles, bathrooms, menus and all
surfaces. Tables and booths are cleaned with antibacterial solution between each
customer.
– Deep Cleaning. Every evening our restaurant is professionally deep cleaned and
disinfected for the next day.
– Alkaline Water. All our food and drinks are made with filtered alkaline water from
Aquafeel Solutions. Bacteria and virus cannot survive in alkaline environments.
Many people recommend drinking alkaline water to boost your immune system
and help you fight off viruses. A glass of water a day at Michi’s may keep the doctor
away!
– Safe Delivery. Food is prepared and packaged with gloves and then stapled in bags.
Plasticware, napkins and straws are sealed. We are working with our delivery
partners (Uber Eats & Postmates) to ensure safe transfer to your home.
It’s also important to mention that according to the USDA, “We are not aware of any
reports at this time of human illness that suggest covid-19 can be transmitted by food or
food packaging.”

Nuestro propósito siempre ha sido mejorar la salud y el bienestar de nuestros clientes. En
este momento estamos aún más dedicados a esa misión. Estos son algunos de los pasos
que hemos tomado para mantener saludables a nuestros clientes y personal durante
estos tiempos de mayor vigilancia.
– Guantes: No hay contacto directo con la comida, nuestros meseros y el personal de
cocina usan guantes en todo momento.
– Quedarse en Casa: Los empleados deben quedarse en casa si experimentan síntomas
de resfriado o gripe.
– Desinfección: Regularmente desinfectamos manijas de puertas, baños, menús , sillas,
mesas y todas las superficies se limpian con una solución antibacteriana entre cada
cliente.
– Limpieza Profunda: Todas las noches, nuestro restaurante se limpia y desinfecta
profesionalmente para el día siguiente.
– Agua Alcalina: Todos nuestros alimentos y bebidas están hechos con agua alcalina
filtrada Aquafeel. Las bacterias no pueden sobrevivir en ambientes alcalinos. Muchas
personas recomiendan beber agua alcalina para estimular su sistema inmunológico y
ayudarlo a combatir los virus.
– Delivery Seguro: La comida se prepara y empaqueta con guantes y luego se guarda en
bolsas engrapadas. Los artículos de plástico, servilletas y pitillos están sellados. Estamos
trabajando con nuestros socios de entrega (Uber Eats y Postmates) para garantizar una
transferencia segura a su hogar.
También es importante mencionar que, de acuerdo con el USDA, “No hay conocimiento
de ningún informe en este momento de enfermedad humana que sugiera que Covid-19
pueda transmitirse a través de alimentos o envases de alimentos”.
